The cursor in view is is stepping between every fourth data point on the graph.

The data was sampled at 1 kHz and I can only read data off the plot at every fourth point with the CURVE cursor. The cursor has been set to CURVE (4ms steps) and FREE (3ms steps). I have tried looking through the options lists but nothing appears to provide a solution. Looking at the data in the TABLE view shows that all the data is listed correctly and I can pick out individual points but I need to read them from the graphical display.

Hi Otto-Cycle,

Try switching from the Free Cursor in VIEW to the Curve Cursor in VIEW, then try using the arrow keys on your keyboard to move point by point.  If that doesn't solve it, then please post a data set for us to look at.

Hello Otto-Cycle,

Is your data in a waveform or a numeric channel?

One reason why the custor jumps 4 values at a time might be that you are using an incorrect X-channel. I hust tried the CURVE cursor in VIEW on a data set with 126,000,000 data points and it correctly moved one data point at a time.

Have you tried checking the steps with the coordinates window (see screenshot below)? P1 should increment by 1 every time you hit the right arrow key on your keyboard.

What version of DIAdem are you using?
