Using a steering wheel graphic

I want to be able to play back some data and who the current steering wheel angle.  Is there any way to show a steering wheel graphic and tie it to the current position of one of the cursors?

Hi Russell,

I assume you're talking about replay in VIEW, not VISUAL, right?

It's not as nice as you're probably imagining, but you can get a pretty good sense of the steering wheel deflection by using a polar plot that is oriented vertically.  You can synchronize the display with your other graphs based on point number or by cursor linking or by using waveforms for the angle and deflection channel you show in the polar plot.  I didn't try out the orbit plot display, but that's another possibility.  Maybe even the shaft centerline display.

If you really want a fancy display, the only thing I can think of is to embed a SUDialog in a VIEW area and use an ActiveX object in the SUDialog-- there's bound to be one of those for a steering wheel which will work in Windows 10 running 64bit.  The synchronization in this case would be a little trickier, but I'll bet we could make it work.
