I am trying to plot a route in View using the map feature. I have downloaded an osm.pbf file from Geofabrink, how do I get that into DIAdem (2017, it is my only way to get Pro at the moment)?

Please review and try this example of plotting GPS data in a View panel with an open street map.

If I was looking over that correctly, that was with an internet connection. Unfortunately my company has disabled internet explorer due to security issues. Is there a way to change the default routing for the mapping to Chrome or to use a downloaded osm map?

Hi Brian,
The map display in DIAdem VIEW by default access new map tiles on demand from a network service such as Open Street Maps. Once you have that connection established, it is possible (as one of Mark's examples mentions) to cache the tiles as you access them for later use offline.
There is no way to use an externally provided *.pbf file in DIAdem VIEW. I double-checked with R&D on this. If you can take that computer to a network connection, you can use DIAdem VIEW to cache the map tiles you need, then back in the offline environment those cached tiles can be accessed by DIAdem VIEW to show map synchronization. That's your only option, in any DIAdem version.

Brad, thanks for the follow up with R&D.
Looking at the documentation on mapping it calls internet explorer, my company no longer allows the use of internet explorer. Is there a way to change the default browser that DIAdem uses to reach sites?
