"IPC/JEDEC-9704" is a test / guideline. See 6. Step 4 in https://www.ni.com/en/shop/data-acquisition-and-control/strain-and-load/identify-and-characterize-da... You should be able to get the maximum diagonal strain from the data acquisition data for each strain gage using DIAdem.
