can't uninstall diadem from package manager

Hi all,

I'm trying to uninstall diadem from NIPM. Unfortunately it tells me I can't do so without uninstalling VeriStand. I need veristand, and don't wish to uninstall it since it makes no apparent sense why veristand would depend on diadem in any way.

Is there a way to directly uninstall diadem?

Hello,

the reason is that newer versions of VeriStand depend on a full DIAdem in order to do evaluations and reporting of measurement data. Because of this dependency there is currently no way to uninstall DIAdem separately.

R&D is aware of this and improvements are in discussion. For your current version of VeriStand please do not try to uninstall DIAdem.
