I'm trying to import *.cdpg files into didaem 11.0. But it does not work. Has someone any idea if and how this is possible?
I already tried by installing citadel 5.0 but this does not work either. Is it possible, this version only works with DIAdem 10.0?
Thanks

Hi manuelwas...
We should be able to get this to work. Prior to installing Citadel onto the computer that has DIAdem 11.0, you would have had to install Citadel driver software (free download), but now you should be good to go. But the connection between DIAdem and Citdel is server-based, not file-based. As long as you have a profile in that computer's "Citadel Universe" (which you can create/edit in MAX), then all you need to do is create a new "Data Store" profile in DIAdem 11.0 to point to the correct "Citadel Universe" profile. To do this, start in the DIAdem NAVIGATOR panel, then click on the "Data Stores" icon near the top left of your screen, then choose the last "Open Data Store" icon to launch the "Open Data Store" dialog. Now for the goofy part. To create a new "Data Store", right-click on the white space in this "Open Data Store" dialog and select the "New..." menu to launch the "New Data Store" dialog. Now give this new Data Store profile any random name you prefer, then select the "Citadel5" DataPlugin from the list and click the "OK" button. This should launch the "Open Data Store" dialog for your newly created Data Store profile. KEY POINT-- you MUST now click on the [...] button at the top right of the dialog to launch the "Database Browser" dialog, which shows you the available Citadel data base servers in your Citadel Universe. Select the one you want, then click "OK" until all the dialogs go away. When the dust clears, and if all succeeds, you should see your Citadel 5 tree structure in the DIAdem NAVIGATOR. You can now open up this connection any time you want by opening the Data Store you created with the "random name you prefer".
Clear as mud?
