diadem 8.0 ascii data plugin

Hi,

I need a data plug in to load ascii, iso mme and isoegv type of file. Am using diadem 8.0 . Can any one tell me how can i do this.

I downloaded the data plugins available in ni.com and installed it and overwritten the desk top.ddd file.

But now when i run the script and want to load the iso or ascii file, in the standard load window the drop down menu is showing .DAT as an option.

Plz let me know the solution for this.

DIAdem 8.0 was released about 10 years ago. I am sorry to say, but most of the current technology including DataPlugins doesn't work with DIAdem 8.0.

To answer your question : You should consider to update. The current version of DIAdem is 11.1.

Hi Rash Patel,

Actually, this week we released DIAdem 2010 (11.2), so you're even further behind.  Did DIAdem 8.0 have the ASCII Import Wizard in the File menu of the DATA device?  I know DIAdem 8.1 did, and that would be a good avenue for you to import those ASCII file formats.  Otherwise you'd have to create a DIAdem *.DAT header file for each ASCII file you want to import.

But your best option is to upgrade,
