getting channel name change in the save-Block accepted

Hi there,

i tried to change my channel names in the save-block. If i run the dac and the script again the old channel-names are still used. I reloaded the dac and restarted diadem and the new channel-names are correct listed in the save block, but while measurement the old ones are used?

Any hints?

thanks

Hi diademi,

did you already checked your script? maybe you use the old channel names inside there.

Perhaps you could put your script/circuit scheme online?

Sergei

Hi Sergei,

that has nothing to do with the script, the same happens if i only load the circuit scheme and run it without any script. Any other ideas?

thanks

Hi diademi,

This sounds  mysterious. Please post an example with all necessary files so that we can reproduce the described behavior.

Perhaps this dac could explain what i mean. I try to rename the signal by changing the data-export-properties (terminal-name). In the save-block the signal name is "weg" but it is stored in the channel  "formel2". Before you ask, in my case i can´t rename "formel2" to "weg" because i have an external input signal called "weg" and i also can´t change the channel reference in the script, because i have serveral dac´s running with the script. I didn´t try it, but perhabs could another function change the name?

Thanks

Hi diademi,

Yes, now I understand the problem. The name which is used to create the channel in the Dataportal is always the name of the last significant source block like the F(x) block or a scale block etc. The other “Signalnamen” are just something like an alias. They are used to handle exchanging blocks more easily.
