multiple scales on Y with the one time axis

Solved!
Go to solution

I have selected n y axes(linear) and in my initial post indicated I have 10.  I don't want to show all 10 axis scales.  Is there a way to turn off 9 off them.(VIEW)?  When I transferred the graph to REPORT it did it automatically for me.

I tried to attached the TDV file but the board would not let me upload a .TDV????

Okay.  I was just playing around and I wouldn't have expected this to happen but I do get only one scale when I select y-axis[LINEAR]. I was thinking this was more for the datasets and not just for the scale itself.

Hi Tweedy -

"N Y-Axes [Linear]" means that there will be one Y-Axis per graphed curve, up to N curves, so long as N <= 20.  If you want all curves graphed versus one single Y-Axis system, you should use the default setting of the 2D-Axis System, which is "Y-Axis [Linear]."

If any of your curves have very disparate Y-magnitudes / Y-ranges, it might make sense to use "Y-Axis [%]" instead, which will graph each curve relative to a scale representing 0-100% of its own maximum value.
