Hello,
we developed a facade to Java that encapsulates the nilibddc.dll.
It worked until we recently received a new TDM/TDX-Testfile.
Reading this file the lib crashes by the attempt to access the data of a certain channel.
When we delete that channel from the TDM-File, the library works fine.
The library also crashes when we try to read the file directly with the nilibddc in C.
Looking at the TDM-File with an editor or opening it with Diadem doesn't help. The channel seems ok.
The error happens with the latest version of the nilibddc.dll as well as with an older version.
Has anyone observed a similar 'result' yet or an idea?
Thanks!

What kind of data type is that specific channel (text or numeric)?
How many values are assigned to that channel?
Can you provide the TDM/TDX files? In case TDX is too large, TDM file only.

It's a numeric channel with Float64 as datatype and has 18216 assigned values.
Unfortunatly we aren't able to provied the files.
We are waiting for authorisation to post or send them.

What application/tool created that specific TDM file?

The file is created with Diadem.
