transfer to REPORT from VIEW doesn't work

Hi 

I try to plot some data in the REPORT Tap from a graph I have in the VIEW tap. 

In VIEW it looks like this:

But then in REPORT, (with the transfer to report button)

just an emtpy plot. I did try to create the plot manual in REPORT, that doesn't work either. I don't think my data is not correct, because I can display it in VIEW, I did check the settings of the graph in REPORT, the x, y limits should be fine. I have DiAdem Version 2024 Q2 and 2023 Q3 in both versions I had this problem and also on the pc from a colleague. I attached the data file .tdms, and the view file .TDV.

Does someone has a solution for that problem?

Hi Anna,

I was able to reproduce your problem in 2024Q2 and 2025Q2 and found a workaround.

1. Load the .TDMS data in your data portal

2. The workaround: Rename your channels (see image)
Note: Make sure there are no spaces or tabs as prefix/suffix in the channel name!
In your original data some of the channels have long suffixes made up of spaces and tabs. This seems to cause the issues (yet to be confirmed).

3. recreate the VIEW layout

4. try transfer to REPORT

Now it should show the expected figures in report. If it does not, check if the channel names are correctly formatted (no spaces or tabs as suffix). Let me know if this works for you!

Have you experienced this issue with other datasets before in DIAdem?
