what is the port used to comunicate between DIAdem and LABview

Hello I'm using LABview 8.2.1 and DIAdem 10.1, and i am able to comunicate between my LABview application to DIAdem, but I cannot receive data from DIAdem to my LABview application.

I guess the communication protocol is a stantard TCP/IP  protocol between 2 ports of the localhost machine.
So I guess there must be some kind of blocking in my firewall. That i why i need to know what is the port used by DIAdem.

So if anyone knows the answer, please post it.
thanks in advance. best regards.

Hi Alexandre,

What VI are you running in LabVIEW, exactly, in order to communicate with DIAdem?  There is the built-in "DIAdem Report" express VI, which sends data to DIAdem and tells DIAdem how to create a report, but has no mechanism for returning information to LabVIEW.  Then there are the LabVIEW DIAdem Connectivity VIs, with which you can send information back and forth using AxtiveX.

Hi Mr Turpin, thank you for replying. I'm using the connectivity vis, in fact I use the DIAdem open reference.vi. I've made this application for a customer, and it really works fine on my computer, to be precise it works in all computers except on the costumer computers...

I know they have strong group policies (active directory stuff) to disable some ports and apps. That is why I need to know what is the port used to comunicate between DIAdem and LABview.

Thanks again, best regards.
