Add data to to existing event

Is there an easy way to add data to an existing event?

It's not too difficult to modify the payload typedef, and then the API VI, event handling case, and message handling case. But if there is a built-in way to do this I would gladly use it 🙂

There are currently no scripting tools to modify the parameters of an existing event. You have to make the changes manually as you describe.
