ALARM Meeting Recaps

I do not have an Insteon driver.  I have a hardware interface, but no driver yet.  This is a project of interest for the current year.  Do you have a hardware interface?  Perhaps we could talk at the next ALARM meeting.

I don't have any hardware currently, but I was debating getting something for some home automation.  I was just investigating if there are any existing LabVIEW interfaces/drivers for the COTS home automation hardware.

I wrote a driver for the X-10 firecracker about 6 years ago. I actually got it running and could control my house lights from my phone/PDA as well as my desktop. X-10 is the antiquated predecessor to Insteon. I have some hardware, and refactored the driver about 6 months ago. I don't think I'll be at the next meeting since I'll be out of town. There's a different X-10 device somone in the community was working on here. Insteon is way cooler than X-10. If anyone wants some of my hardware, they can have it. I have mostly light switches, RF receviers, and a few remotes.

FYI, I did get LabVIEW to work with insteon (ISY99i), ended up using the REST interface.
