There are two excellent resources for LabVIEW examples. The first is LabVIEW itself. In LabVIEW 6.1 choose the pull-down menu "Help -> Find Examples." From most versions of LabVIEW you can select Search/Find Examples from the LabVIEW splash screen that opens when you start the program. You will want to seach for "digital" or "8255" as key words. You will find a great number of digital I/O examples; however, with the PCI-6503 you can only use the examples that state they are written for the 8255 chip, which is the chip found on your board.
The second best resource is our web site. Simply go to www.ni.com or our Developer Zone at www.ni.com/devzone and search for the same keywords as I mentioned above. I've found the best keyword is "8255" f
or your specific hardware.
