Hi everyone,
I am having trouble with calibrating my ADAM-4017 Data Acquisition Module.
I have accidentaly given it the commands for Offset Calibration and Span Calibration when I was testing out the different commands available to it. Now all the readings it shows is completely wrong. I have another working ADAM 4017 Module so I can verify if the reading is correct or not.
I have tried following the instructions for proper calibration using the Manual but I found the readings are still off.
The steps that I have done for recalibration in 10V so far are
- Input 10V DC through Channel 0 + and -.
- Connected 125ohm Resistor through Channel 0 + and -.
- Typed in the command for Offset Calibration $011 ($AA1, 01 is my hex address),
- Typed in the command for Span Calibration $010.
- Checked if it was working after this point using a voltage sensor connected through Channel 0. Incorrect Voltage Reading. Off by 5V.
- Removed all connections at Channel 0.
- Connected 125ohm Resistor through Channel 0 + and -. Found the Voltage Reading to be -10v.
- Typed in the command for Offset Calibration $011.
- Typed in the command for Span Calibration $010.
- Checked if it was working using a voltage sensor. Incorrect voltage reading of 3v, off by 1v. (Voltage reading on the working ADAM 4017 was around 2v)
Please advise what I can do next to bring back my ADAM 4017 to working condition.
Thank You! 🙂
