Analyze and Decode Pattern in 16 Channel Digital Waveform with 1 nano second accuracy

Hello Everyone,

I am new to NI Hardware, request community support to help me identify correct Hardware and Methodology for my following applcation.

We need to analyze patterns and calculate time intervals between rise and fall of different channels with 1 nano second accuracy

Ideal incoming signal is- 0.75us High , 0.25us Low

Application Algorithm Example:

  • Jitter filtering - For example in following image captured by a low cost data logger, we need to filter the jitter through algorithm in Labview, the width of jitter is 50ns to 200ns.
  • On Channel D – There is square wave, the width of square wave is 500 ns rise time, 500ns fall time. We need capture the pattern for example, four continuous square wave on Channel-D means, start of synchronization of data.
  • After that we need to calculate the rising time, between square wave’s with 1 nano second accuracy.
  • The calculated time, between each rising edge needs to be stored in a excel file.
  • The above process needs to be done 24X7.

5 Channel Data5 Channel Data

Example of Data from Analyzing Channel A , B, C

In the following image example of data is provided, similar data is present on all 16 channels.

We need to report that at time of occurence of pulse on all channels, and also calculate the time between the next occurence of such packet in three Channels.

  1. Channel A values was - 15 (F)
  2. Channel B value was - 14(E)
  3. Channel C values was - 2 (2)

Kindly request the community in let me decide, the hardware and topology to be used to resolve the applicaiton.

Thanks and Regards

Hi,
Can somebody please suggest any hardware which would suffice my requirement ?
Or Suggest an otherway to achieve it.

1ns resolution requires at least 2GS/s digital input capture rate which is quite very high.

Your requirement seems to better fit a high-end logic analyzer.
