The CWDI is designed for NI boards that have timing capabilities with their digital lines, such as the NI-6533/6534. Your PCI-MIO-16XE10 uses the DAQ-STC digital control chip, which only supports static digital IO. Therefore you cannot use the CWDI control since it is made for HW timed digital applications.
You utilized your board�s digital lines; CDDIO or NI-DAQ function calls will be the best option.
