Hello all, first I want to say thank you for all of your suggestions. I have completed my application and will post it for review. My application collects the data using a FOR loop, each iteration is collects 10 million samples and stores the data in an array. On each iteration the array will grow in size. The data is not contiguous between iterations, but that will be okay. When the For loop is complete, I save the array to a binary file. So far is works without any problems. I just wanted to say thanks.
The task of streaming data to disk will be solved by purchasing a card from Conduant. I can use the NI-6534 card to acquire the data and the Conduant card to stream it to disk.
