Correlate digital i/o to internal clock

I am using a 6052E series card. We are getting a TTL signal from a photoeye (~400 hz) that I want to get as a digital 'waveform' to do spectral analysis on. I have been able to read the signal into the computer using DaqMX and plot the values, however, the digital waveform has no dt values. I am sure I am missing a basic step, but for now it has me stumped. Any direction would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hello cme,

You cannot perform hardware timed DIO operations with an E Series devices. If you want to able to acquire digital waveform in a correlated manner using a sample clock of some sort, your best bet is to use of the new M Series.

Can I perform hardware timed AIO with the E series? Thanks for the response - I feel better about what I was getting then.

Hello Cme,

yes you can perform hardware timed Analog Input and Output with E Series. Those are two of their main functions.
