DAQ 6025e triggering through PA pins

Hello,

I'm using the DAQ 6025e board and I want to acquire an analog signal so that it would be triggered by an external digital signal.

The problem is that I cannot use, due to technical reasons, the PFI(0..9) pins and the only available ones for me are:
PA(2,6,7).

Is it possible to use these pins as triggers ?

Is it possible to use the DIO(0..7) as triggers ?

In the examples that I've seen, these pins weren't available for triggering. Moreover, I haven't seen even using these pins at all, guys, how can I control them at all (sending, receiving signals through the DIO/PA pins) ?

You kind help would be highly appreciated.

Hello Mic_Scale,

Unfortunately, if you want to do digital triggering, you have to use one of the PFI lines as the input for your trigger.

If you would like to use the DIO lines on your board, just open up one of the LabVIEW examples that does Digital Measurement or Digital Generation.  You can also create a Digital Input/Output task in Measurement and Automation Explorer.
