DAQmx 1.5 Resource Temporarily Unavailable

Programming DAQmx 1.5 in C on Linux.

Sometimes when trying to do a DAQmxBaseCreateDOChan I recieve the error:

Resource temporarily unavailable
Testing bottleControl.start: Dev1/port0 Physical channel specified does not exist on this device.
Refer to the documentation for channels available on this device.

This occurs pretty much randomly, but more often If I setup and breakdown channels quickly.  Dev1/port0 is a legal port on this device.  I am also breaking down/ setting up DIChan, but don't see such errors.  Anything special your supposed to do for DOChan.

What distribution of Linux are you using? What version of this distribution? What do you mean by setting up / breaking down channels?
