DI interrupt with PCI 6229 card

I have an application the acquires  both digital and analog data with a 50ms timed loop.

But there is one critical digital input that I need to know as soon as it changes state . Basically I am looking for a  interrupt like functionality  for this DI alone. Is there any way to achieve this with the PCI - 6229 card ? ( Using LV7.1 full development system on WIN_XP )
