DIO DAQ vi that can perform write and read measurements using binary data saved in a file

HI Christina

Thanks very much for the state machine VI and from the looks of things i should be able to modify it to suit my use, but some of the functions didn't open (missing) with LabVIEW 8.6 and 2009, thay have ? while some have broken lines and there were lots of syntax errors, thus i couldn't get it to run to view how it executes.  I don't know if you can fix that for me. Please.

Please, i'll be grateful if you can fix the errors for me maybe you did it with an earlier LabVIEW version.

Paul,

It opens with no errors in LabVIEW 2009 on my computer.  What VIs are missing?

Paul,

It looks to me like you don't have any of the DAQmx VIs.  Do you have DAQmx installed?

Hi JD

I had NI-DAQmx version 8.8 installed on my machine which works with LabVIEW version 8.5, 8.6 and (8.9 not so sure), infact I have been using it for other simulations that i did with labVIEW version 8.6 and it works well. I don't know if it is possible to convert the state machine VI  to labVIEW 8.6, maybe it should work.

Hi JD

I'm still having same loading error, i can't open the VI you converted to LAbVIEW ver 8.6.

Please see attached file for details. I just install the latest version if DAQmx (NI DAQmx Version 8.9.5).

You can even see MAX short cut on my desktop. I really don't know what is wrong. If i have some free time i'll re-install all the softwares i take it from there.

I appreciate the support.
