I am looking for a way to interface with a digital potentiometer through LabVIEW for my output signal. Within my VI, an output going to a DAC is gained to a high output voltage (10V) by finding the max possible value in a formula node. For example, in a channel with a peak amplitude of -0.223798, the DAC outputs with a programmed "gain" of 44 for an actual peak amplitude of 9.847112.
I am attempting to locate a precision digital potentiometer that can be programmed through LabVIEW to then attenuate this signal back to its original amplitude through external circuitry (or close to it, will likely adjust to program gain to match the resistance steps of the potentiometer).
Is there any device that is capable of this? I see a handful of posts regarding this topic, but most are over 10 years old.
Thanks for any help.

Please share more info on the Digital Potentiometer you currently have.

I do not currently have one. I am looking for the best available precision option, if there is any options, to integrate with the VI I currently have. My DAC is currently a DT9834, but I will likely be switching to a NI-9262.
