Is it okay to directly connect two FPGAs (in my case one NI PXI-7831R into one NI PXI-7811R) with a (SCSI-4?) cable between the front panel connector blocks. I am a little worried that some of the pins might have functions/voltages that can cause damage if they are directly connected.
