I am using this vi to read displacement from an optical encoder and also a load cell. It is a TRD 1000-pulse encoder, and I am using an NI E-series DAQ. I am reading too many pulses per turn in one direction (about 1800) and slightly too few in the other (about 850). Does anyone have a suggestion?
I just ran your VI and I was able to accurately count the number of pulses per revolution with my encoder. Your VI seems to be working correctly. Do you have another encoder that you could test this with?
