How can I display a digital signal with the Digital Waveform Graph

I want to display a digital data line from a RS-232 interface. What is the easiest way to do that?

There is no good way to read the line states of RS232 lines fast and accurately enough in software so you should use a data acquisition board that provides hardware timed digital I/Os. You will have to connect these I/Os to the RS232 lines.
The cheapest board from NI that provides this feature is the PCI-6220.
