How do I produce either open or ground across one pin?

We are developing in Labview and are connected to a PXI chassis containing a handful of modules. We are attempting to produce for our customer a list of signals. For example, across 15 pins he needs either 30volts or ground. We were able to generate these types of signals with 6512.

However, he also needs us to provide a few pins with either open or ground? We have at our disposal: 6512, 6515, 6704, 6225 as well as 9475. Is this possilbe with the modules we have at hand? If so, which one and what steps would we take. And, if not, is there a module available that will do this?

Hey Jeff,

        You'll be able to do this by tristating the line- one example of this can be shown in this example program (a property node is used).  Tristating the line will neither output a high or low, but rather output a 'Z' state that is floating.  You can read more information about that here. The only module that will support that example is your M Series 6225.  Hope that helps- let me know if you have more questions!
