How do I read the first byte in an EEPROM using the NI USB-8451?

Hello all,

I'm new to I2c and am having trouble reading the first byte of information from my EEPROM. I'm using a little endian mode EEPROM that uses 2 byte addressing. When I try for a write read to address 00, I get the information back at address 01. I also tried a straight read. That also gave me the information at address 01. Any ideas? Thanks!

Maybe you can tell us first what Eeprom you are using. They are not all the same.
