How do I select the input channel for a counter vi?

I have a PCI-1200 I/O board and have set up a digital output line and an anolog output line successfully, but I can't figure out how to count pulses coming from an instrument. I had used the Count Edges(DAQ STC).vi with the PCI-MIO-16XE-50 board (which was damaged and can no longer be used), but the source selection on that vi doesn't have the PCI-1200 channels. thanks a bunch!!

The counter chip on the PCI-1200 is different from that on the PCI-MIO-16XE-50 board. The PCI-1200 has the 8253 chip while the PCI-MIO-16XE-50 has the DAQ-STC. In LabVIEW, go to Help>>Find Examples. Then search under Hardware Input and Output>>Counters>>8253. Hope this helps. Have a great day!
