How to capture data from a non-NI manufactured DAQ?

To NI Service Representatives,

How do we capture data from a USB hardware that isn't manufactured by National Instrument? Please find attached the port information of this hardware.

Your question does not make any sense. You don't have any sort of DAQ. You have a com port and you would comunicate to whatever is connected to the com port. It would be no different than connecting to an RS232 instrument through a built in com port. Why don't you explain what the com port is connected to.

p.s. Since you don't have an NI data acquisition device, you are posting to the wrong board. For help with RS232 communications, you should post to the Instrument Control board. The 'Serial' in the title of that board should have given you a big clue. Also, don't address anything to 'NI Service Representatives'. Most of the people here do not work for NI.
