How to connect PCIe-6537 to my desktop ?

Forgive me if this sounds sarcastic, but I would try something like this:

You may be noting that the slot on the 6537 (PCIe x1) is significantly shorter than some of your other slots (which may be PCIe x4, x8 or x16).  It's perfectly acceptable to slide a PCIe x1 card into a PCIe x16 slot (the most common width, due to its use on graphics cards) if that is all that is available.  In fact my PCIe 6537 works slightly faster in my x16 slot, which I chalk up to dumb luck and perhaps some slight optimization by the manufacturer for what is expected to be a graphics card slot.

 

memoryleak's super technical guide to installing computer hardware:

1) Plug it in where it fits

2) If it fits in mulitple places, try and match color.  If you're still left with more than one choice, it probably doesn't matter.
