How to read and out a byte of data in 6514?

Hi Friends,

 I need to give one byte of data as input to Digital I/O Board: PXI 6514. Then I need to out the same data to the output port of the same digital I/O Board. How to program this in LabVIEW? 

Is it possible to code this using Graphical language else should I write it any code form?  I am new to this environment. Guide in this.

Go to Help>Find Examples>Hardware Input and Output>DAQmx. There are basic examples under Digital Generation and Digital Measurements. You can also use the DAQ Assistant.
