How to transfer data from SHT11 using RS232 to labview

Hello everyone,

I am a graduate student and couple of days old in the field of LabView. I am making a device where I need to send out SHT11 data (temp and humidity) via RS232 to a computer so that the temp and humidity can be displayed on the computer screen.

I ran couple of example on labview (very basic ones) to get an idea of the tool. I am still very new in this and would appreciate if any of you can guide me in the right direction. Where do i get the tutorials for serial data transfer to labview (are there any)? If you have a VI to share for this application that will be hightly appreciated.
