How to use niTClk when one card is doing both generation and acquisition ?

I am trying to setup two PCI 6541 cards for synchronized data generation and acquisition. One of the cards is generation only and one card is generation and acquisition. I can use niTClk to synchronize two generation sessions, but when I add the acquisition session, I get an error message that the sessions array cannot support two sessions on the same card. There are no examples in the supplied documentation that seem to cover this case.

Hi Gil,

You can only synchronize one session per card using Tclk.  This is why the two generation sessions work fine and an error occurs when acquisition and generation from the second card is added to the program.  If you could provide more information on the communication between your DUT and the 6541s, I would be happy to help find a work around for you.

Hi Ryan -

Thanks for your help. I had accidentally clicked "Submit Post" twice and my message was enterred twice on the message board. I mentioned in the other thread that I was able to use the DataActiveEvent to get the Acquisition session going with a small latency and that solved my problem
