I'm a very new to instrumentation field also to labview.. but my project field is on analyzing brain signal... i just want to know how to read an analog input when we given a  pulse input to digital port in usb 6008...meanwhile the analog input should starts to read only when digital pulse senses at digital port..... like pulse synchronization.... have to seperate the input signals into two.... i need a suggestion... suggest me a good way to work on........................

Maybe you can flesh out your idea better in terms of what your are measuring, and what you want your trigger to be.  What voltage do you need to measure?  At what rate?  How many signals in parallel?  What kind of signal do you want to use for a trigger?  I suspect that a standard low speed high precision DAQ will do the job for you.  As in many projects, you will find that specifying exactly what you are trying to do is half the battle.

u r correct.... though i given two source, i'm getting a single output from the detector source...  the detector output given as a input to  DAQ card..... i'm just using signal express to acquire the signals...... output was condensed with valuable info ....input frequency 1kz and 2khz are given to those sources with a duty cycle of 50%.....meanwhile when one source is on condition another one is in off condition.... so now the output signal is immensed with those two signals.... do i need coding to synchronize????? pls suggest me....    thnaks for replying...........
