Lab View FPGA module+PCI-7833R

My application is a 32x32 matrix digital I/O. Hence i need to be able to output a 32-bit pattern in parallel on 64 digital lines using precise timing control (in microseconds). I have been advised to purchase the Labview FPGA module and the PCI-7833R.

I would like to know if this software+hardware package would suit my requirements. If yes, how would I go about configuring 32 digital i/o lines to output a 32-bit pattern in  parallel.

Hi Mzshaikh,

Sorry for the delay, I was doing a proof of concept for you. I'm happy to say that the 7833R will output a 32-bit pattern in parallel.

I attach at the end of this message, my code and the screen shots of a scope.
Ch1 is DIO0 and Ch2 is DIO31 so I had it setup to get the most amount of time difference between the signals.

Ch2 (lower line) shows a time to zero of 100ns this is because I was not using a pull down resistor.
Ch1 (upper line) shows a slight amount of glitch energy. Also Ch1 shows only 200mV per Div, this is because I told the scope I was using a 1:1 probe when in fact it was a 10:1 probe, so the output is as it should be 3.3V

Hope this helps you
