NI-DAQ (legacy) for DIO 96 on a Mac

I am running Labview 7.1 on a Mac OS 10.4 with a PCI DIO 96 board.  Can I use NI-DAQ (legacy) rather than NI_DAQmx Base with this configuration?  I'm trying to get some vis I wrote several years ago up on this system ASAP and haven't had much of a chance to get in the DAQmx Base.

Hi Dave,

The only DAQ driver that works under Mac OS 10.4 is the NI-DAQmx Base driver. The Traditional NI-DAQ (legacy) driver versions 6.6.1 and 4.9.4 only work under Mac OS 9 and previous. If you are having trouble getting things setup under NI-DAQmx Base the getting started guide, Getting Started with NI-DAQmx Base for Linux and Mac OS X Users, steps you through setting up the drivers, making sure your device is recognized, and getting to the example programs.
