Hello,
I would like to know if the DIO ports of the NI-8452 interface actually support open drain.
There are inconsistencies in the manual; in fact, on page 45 it states this,
while at the end of the manual (among the specifications) it reports this:
On the other side, I am certain that the NI-8451 supports open drain (in the relative table it is explained), and in the manual there is an example where it is used to have 5V outputs (page 37).
Is there an error in the specifications, or is the table wrong and the DIO ports of the NI-8452 actually support open drain?
Has anyone of you tried it in the field?
Thanks

Documentation error is possible, the easiest way to verify is to run a piece of code that configures the output drive type and see if the HW error out.
