How can i use a PCI-6521 board to output 120 V AC to control a solenoid valve in Measurement and Automation Explorer?

Hi Kathleen,
It looks like you can only output a DC voltage using the 6521. So you would need a relay of some sort to convert DC to AC. I would recommend a solid state relay.
