Without knowing exactly the nature of the crash that you are experiencing, I would recommend making sure that you have the most recent version of NI-DAQ installed:

If you continue having problems, we'd have to have a better description of the crash and how it is occurring to be able to provide more advice on the source of the problem. I would recommend contacting National Instruments Technical Support directly at: ni.com/ask with a description of the application, the crash, any error messages, and the versions of LabVIEW and NI-DAQ.
