PCLK, REQ, and ACK lines as generic I/O

I am trying to find out how to program the PCLK, REQ, ACK lines on a DAQCard 6533 as general purpose DIO lines using LabView. The manual states you can but I cannot figure out how.

SonarRob,
The PCLK, REQ, ACK and STOPTRIG lines can be used as additional I/O lines/port in unstrobed mode only. Pages 2-3 thru 2-6 of the 635x User Manual give a great explanation of the theory, which lines are output or input, and a programming flow diagram based on your programming language. Please post again if you have additional questions after reading these pages. Have a great day!

There must be some confusion. I assume you mean the 653X manual because that is what I have. So, I went to pages 2-3 thru 2-6 of my 6533 manual and it is discussing installation and configuration for the device not theory and programming. ????

Here's a link to the manual I was using. http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/321464c.pdf. Let me know if you can't find the info and I'll send you the excerpt.

I read the manual you reference and it does a good job. Thanks. My manual is dated July 1997, even though I bought the board in early 2000.
