PCMCIA for 2MHz, 5V TTL, PCI-6533 ???

Hello all,
I'm using the NI PCI-6533 (DIO-32HS) right now for collecting data. We are looking for the same card for PCMCIA. In NI website, there is only one card available for PCMCIA (0.1 Mhz, 5V TTL, PCMCIA).

I just wonder if anyone know that NI has any PCMCIA that is 2MHz just like the PCI-6533. Or what should I do to collect data from PCMCIA that fast as the PCI-6533?

Hi Neweng,

Unfortunately you're correct. NI only makes one PCMCIA card that supports hardware timed DIO the DAQCARD 6533. If you look at the product manual you can see that the board's benchmark rates are not 2MHz (p E-6).

One reason for this is that PCMCIA only supports interrupt-based data transfer not DMA. Please reference the following document for a description of the differences between the buses.
