RIO PXI-7833R does not appear in Max

Hi,

I'm a new user of NI/Labview. I'd like toseek advice on the following problem of mine  :-

 "RIO PXI-7833R does not appear in Max"

I could not see "RIO devices" under Max - My System - Devices and Interfaces

I have the following installed previously :-

- Labview 8.5

- Labview 8.6

- PXI-7833R

- Labview 8.5.1 FPGA module

- RIO 2.4

following what I've read from previous posts, I've reinstalled all the above except the Labview 8.6. 

However, it still does not work.

While I'm currently repeating the same process again (reinstalling) I would like to seek advice if any...

Appreciate if someone could tell, what are the necessary modules etc that need to be there ..

Hi Islahna :

  I have check your sequence.Are you using LabVIEW 8.5.1?

 sequence of installation is follow as below:

1.LAbVIEW 8.5.1

2.LAb FPGA 8.5.1

3.NI RIO 3.0(if you get latest version would be better:link to download :https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/drivers/download.ni-rio--legacy-.html

4.LabVIE Real Time 8.5.1 (optional)

Before installing the NI 78xxR, you need to install the application software and device driver.You must install NI-RIO device driver software before installing the NI 78xxR.

I suggest that you should disable windows firewall or any anit virus software before installing this softwares.Please try again and let me knowmthe out come.

I've removed all including Labview 8.6 and reinstalled according to suggested sequence. Problem solved.
