Tengo una PCI-6527 instalada en una PC (PC-2) con Win2K, y tengo otra PC (PC-1)con Win XP. Anbas PCs est�n en la misma LAN. Quisiera acceder al dispositivo en PC-2 desde PC-1 tal y como si estuviese instalado en �sta. C�mo puedo lograrlo?

I want to use the device installed on PC-2 thru the LAN on PC-1 with LabView 7.0 but I need PC-2 to be working with Win2k. It must to be posible but I don't know how to do that. Can you help me?

Hello larj,

There are two possible options you have based on your preferences and the needs of your application:

1) Use RDA (Remote Device Access).  One restriction of using RDA is that you will have to use Traditional DAQ and cannot use DAQmx.

2) Use Remote Front Panels.  Here is a KB on how to develop remote front panels in LabVIEW.
