Hi,
I work with Measurement studio and Daqmx, a chassis 1042, a PXI-6652, one DIO card 6534, one 6533, and one AO card 6713.
With the 6652, if I understand it correctly, I should be able to replace the 10MHz backplane clock with the more stable oscillator in the card, and then send this signal via Star Trigger lines to the 3 other cards so that they use as their master time base and therefore all be synchronized while running.
However, I have no idea to do that software-wise, and I haven't been able to find a shred of information so far. Could somebody help me on the subject?
I have another question, very important to me too. Is it possible to have two tasks with same channels in it, if one is never started before the other is stopped?
My plan would be to have a third task send pulses at given times to start one task, and then the second. I don't want the sample rates, hence I can't get them in the same task. Is it possible? Is there a better way to go?
