I bought a 6009 for a similar application (solenoid valves). I am planning on using a smart MOSFET from Philips PIP3104-P. It's easy to use. Hope it can help you. On the other hand, I am using Delphi and I am stuck when it comes to create a DO channel, so if any body has any idea (see thread Delphi USB 6009), they are welcome!
That looks like a software issue unless your unable to write to the Digital Port using MAX. gromar
started a thread brought out other people working with Delphi. I
did not consider the Philips because I my pneumatic solenoids only
require 5 volts.
Thanks for the link, it 's got some useful information. I have sorted the problem by going for a coffee: just needed a break from the PC to realise the fool I was: not allocating memory to a pointer is looking for troubles! I agree the Philips is an overkill, but it's easy to use I use it to control small solenoid pumps (slow pumps) too...
Hi Raymond thank you for your help I`ll review the link. If I need something I`ll write to you because i`m new using labview and the USB 6008. Have a nice day. C you.
