Upgrading from WinNT4.0 to WinXP leads to error communication PCI-6533

I'm using a PCI-6533 digital i/o card. I use it to read a combined signal of 2 ADC's using handshaking. I have now a new computer with WinXP. When I use the same labview program it works OK for one time. This means that the acquisition on the ADC's (DSP's) is started. When I try to use it a second time the acquisition want to start but it stops immediatly, giving the error -10026. The program is based on the following vi's: RESET, DIO CONFIG, DIO START, BUFFER READ, DIO CLEAR and RESET. The error message appears in the BUFFER READ. The only solution is to restart the computer or trying the start the program 20 times. It seems that there is a problem with the buffer.

Hi,

I doubt it has to do with Operating systems since I myself have always 6533 on win XP running. I would suggest to run some example programs and see if they run fine or not. And then you may want to make the necessary changes in your code too. You can find the examples under LabVIEW Help >> Find Examples >> Hardware Input and Output >> DAQ >> Digital Input and Output.
