Using USB 8451 for nine SPI slave devices

I have 9 SPI slave devices and one USB 8451. If I use an extra Digital output (from another PXI 6515 which is having spare DO channels) as Chip select for the ninth slave , can I use the 8451 as its master?

Hello,

Using the technique described here I theorise you could set ALL the onboard CS lines high, then use your external digital output set to a low to select the chip connected to it, then send your data.

Please let me know if you make progress with this!

Since I don't have the hardware right now, can't validate it.

Will update you once I get hold of the hardware.
